after years spent in law and academia, and then as a full-time mom, charlotte & mia emerged from my love of vintage children’s illustration from the 1950s and 1960s. Inspired by the great artists of that era, I created my own set of adorable, customizable little characters that adorn many of our products. charlotte & mia items make great, unique, much-loved gifts for birthdays, holidays, and “just because.”
